Pickin' On The Square Makes Season Debut

From classic country and rock to gospel, live music returned Saturday evening to the Courthouse Square in downtown Doniphan. Musical guests for Pickin' On The Square included the Borderline band from Ripley County as well as 84-year-old Bill Yates, father of Doniphan's own Grammy-nominated songwriter Billy Yates. This week's lineup is expected to include Bob and Barb Lewis along with the return of Borderline, featuring Terry Staten, Carl Decker, Russell Chitwood and Dean Henson. The music starts at 5 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.
