Football Dons Open New Season In Front Of Enthusiastic Fans

Fall sports got off to an exciting start Friday, Aug. 28, as the Doniphan Dons hosted the Kelly Hawks to kick off the season. Kelly won the game 34-14 but the Dons battled hard to the end scoring touchdowns on their final two possessions of the game. The Dons are set to travel to Kennett on Friday, Sept. 4, to open SEMO Central Conference play. Special thanks to Steve Inman for the outstanding photo coverage of the games.
