The decorations are going up and the enthusiasm is building. The Naylor Heritage Day Foundation has announced it will host a lighted Christmas parade at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in Naylor. Participants are asked to meet starting at 5:15 p.m. at Naylor School. Christmas decorations began going up Friday at the Naylor Community Park across from the senior center. Helping out was the FCCLA students from Naylor High School. Many decorations were donated by residents and former residents. Some of the FCCLA students volunteering included Haley Sullivan, Chloe Mitchell, Samantha McElhaney, Gracie Wilkerson, Cherokee Pinkston, Kinsey Hill, Zoey Sprous, Gulia Bentolio, Zella Layton, Nickel Somers, Harley Sullivan, Ricanna Powell, Chloe Smith, Eris Somers and Elizabeth Saling. The annual Naylor Heritage Days Parade in October was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
