Donettes Get Pre-Season Tests From West Plains, Sikeston And Liberty

For a preseason jamboree, the intensity level was pretty high at times Thursday night at Bill L. Wright Gymnasium. The Doniphan Donettes held their own during two-quarter scrimmages against West Plains, Sikeston and Liberty. Doniphan gave Class 4 West Plains its only close finish of the night with an 11-11 tie as Brook Klepzig scored four points, Sydni Speck three, Allison Skaggs two and Bailey Carson two. The Donettes finished strong outscoring Sikeston 18-5 with Time Turner scoring five points, Sydni Speck three, Olivia Creutz three, Kylie Hawkins two, Bailey Carson two, Allison Skaggs two, and Kendra Moore one.The Donettes will open their regular season Monday, Nov. 30, against Greenville at the Van Buren Lady Dawg Classic. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
