Seventh COVID-19 Case Confirmed In Ripley County
The Ripley County Health Center confirmed Monday morning the seventh positive case of COVID-19 in the county.
On Wednesday, May 13, the health center confirmed a sixth positive case of COVID-19 in Ripley County. According to health center director Jan Morrow the client test was completed on April 22 in another state. The case was not reported to Missouri health officials until May 13.
Local health center staff are monitoring each case and follow up contacts will be completed.
The Ripley County Health Center is working with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to identify and contact people who may have come in contact with the individual while they were infectious and will monitor them for fever and respiratory symptoms. No other information will be provided regarding the patient.
