Five COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Friday Morning In Ripley County

Ripley County residents are being advised to remain cautious as the total number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow during the month of September.

The Ripley County Health Center reported receiving five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 this morning (Friday) and one Thursday afternoon. Total cases for our county is now 130, including 38 since Sept. 1, said health center director Jan Morrow. Ninety-one patients have recovered, 38 are being monitored and one death was reported Sept. 9.

“With our cases on the rise, it is even more important that all of us take more precautions to protect us and our families,” Morrow said.
