Ripley County's Number Of COVID Cases Sails Past 300

Ripley County’s number of confirmed new cases of COVID-19 continues to grow.

Eight new cases were confirmed on Monday, bringing the total reported by the Ripley County Health Center since March to 313.

Health center director Jan Morrow said Monday that her department currently is monitoring 94 cases. The county has recorded five deaths.

Morrow reminds all county residents to observe the following guidelines:

•When out and about, wear a mask if you cannot maintain 6 ft distance;

•Wash your hands, eat healthy and keep hydrated;

•If you have symptoms of COVID or FLU, contact your medical provider and stay home away from others.
