Ripley County Extension Council Election Results Announced

The Ripley County Extension Council has announced its newly-elected members for the 2021 year. They include Amy Braschler, Larry Casteel, Tom Chaligoj, Nikki Johannsen and Graling Robinson.

The Ripley County Extension Council is comprised of publicly elected citizens who plan and carry out extension programs in the local community.

University of Missouri Extension offers educational programs addressing high-priority areas like agriculture, horticulture, nutrition, consumer and family economics, business and industry, community development and youth development (4-H.)

The local council oversees several tasks, including:

•Working with regional specialists to provide local educational programs;

•Managing finances of local extension operations;

•Providing personnel to carry out extension activities;

•Electing and organizing the local extension council.
