Speak Out: No Common Courtesy

Speak Out,

I don’t normally say anything but it seems like people are getting worse. It all started on the 28th of August when I was pulling out of The new Harps.

I saw a white Ford Explorer at the top of the hill so I pulled out and before I knew it, it was on my tailgate. The woman driving proceeds to pass me in the left turn lane to go into town. Yes, you must have had to be somewhere in a huge hurry. I figure you were at least doing 20 over the speed limit in the area marked 35 and beyond that, you were gone in a heartbeat. So I hope you got where you needed to be.

This morning I’m standing in line at Casey’s waiting for the person in front of me at the counter to leave and some woman decides that she is somehow more important than me and proceeded to just jump in front of me. Then she’s blasting her horn at someone else trying to park her car.

Really is this what we as a society become that there is no common courtesy left in this great country of ours?
