This is a friendly reminder that we have an outstanding gem in our midst called the Doniphan Senior Center. Each day, Monday through Friday, they serve a delicious lunch for those age 60 and over. There are many lunches served to home bound residents but there is also a very nice, updated lunch room available for those who want to dine in.

Not very many people are taking advantage of these meals served 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Each meal is cooked that day by some very competent cooks and served hot when guests arrive. These cooks know their stuff and provide some pretty tasty meals. A suggested donation of $4 is recommended but nobody is turned away.

Where else can you get a delicious, healthy meal for that price? Gather up your friends and give it a try. It’s a great place to socialize too.
