COVID-Related Deaths Rise To 35 For ‘21

Ripley County officials have confirmed two new deaths of local residents from COVID-19 among other underlying conditions.

County coroner Mike Jackson and health center director Tammy Cosgrove announced the deaths on Thursday morning, Nov. 18.

So far in 2021, Ripley County has recorded 35 deaths and 1,260 new cases of COVID-19.

During 2020, our county had 722 COVID-19 cases and 11 confirmed deaths occurred.
