Elen Wesley Baxter, 65, of Doniphan pled guilty May 24 to a Class D felony possession of a controlled substance (from an arrest on May 12, 2021). He was given a suspended sentence of five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and placed on supervised probation.

Baxter also pled guilty to a second count of a Class D felony possession of a controlled substance from August 15, 2021, for which he was also given a suspended sentence of five years and supervised probation.

Kenneth James Couch, 45, of Mammoth Springs, Ark., pled guilty May 24 to a Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance and was given a suspended sentence of seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, and placed on supervised probation.

Steven Allen Harvey, 35, of Doniphan pled guilty May 24 to a Class D felony of burglary in the second degree and a Class D felony of endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk in the first degree, first offense, no sexual contact.

Harvey was given a suspended sentence of 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, and placed on supervised probation.
