Logan Melson was the winner of the Boys Citizenship Award for the DHS Class of 2019. He is the son of Debbie and Mike Melson. The award is presented to the student who best represents the ideals implied in the name - service and character. Winners are selected on a vote by the faculty.

Taylor Dillon (band) and Sarah Orick (vocal music) were the winners of the Paul Ripley Music Award scholarships - the top awards for music at Doniphan High School.
