Ripley County Youth Hunters

Hannah Wilson, 12 of Doniphan killed a 9-point buck Nov. 2 around 8:15 a.m. She was hunting with her mom, Kristy Leroux near Doniphan. “We were at Grandma Sharon Christian and Papa Tim Douglas's property. We got out there at 7 and me and mom went and sat down and we was out there for about an hour and that is when that buck came through and I shot it. I was so excited. I just want to thank my mom and the Lord Jesus Christ for allowing to be able to hunt," said Hannah. (Photo provided)

Kaden Plunk, age 10 of Doniphan killed an 8-point buck Nov. 2 around 5 p.m. He was hunting with his mom, Amanda Howard and stepdad, Mark Howard near Gatewood.
