Doniphan's first Spring Fling mostly fell victim to the April showers but some activities carried on the best they could at the armory and DNAP Community Center. Friday evening a new season of Cruisin' The Park got off to a good start with a collection of vintage cars and trucks drawing a good turnout to Heritage Park. The participating businesses with the Doniphan Small Town Business Alliance welcomed customers both Friday and Saturday. The Farmer's Market of Ripley County hopes for sunny skies May 1 to officially start the season.
