P-N Office Closed Today, Newspapers Available Thursday

Wednesday, February 17, 2021

Ripley County residents were digging out Tuesday morning as sub-zero temperatures mixed with more than eight inches of snow in some areas left many homebound Monday-Tuesday.

Snow began Sunday evening in most areas and continued throughout the night and Monday. All area schools were closed Tuesday-Wednesday.

Please visit our website at theprospectnews.com for updates as they become available. The Prospect-News office is closed today and newspapers will be delivered on Thursday rather than Wednesday this week. The Prospect-News electronic edition is available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

MODOT plows worked throughout the evening Monday to clear major roads in the Ripley County area. Among those was Route B just south of Fairdealing. More snowfall is expected on Wednesday.
