I’ve read that the board of aldermen for the city doesn’t want to show up two times a month. That is unbelievable. We elect representatives to be our voice and ask them to get involved in the issues that are important to us. Can that be done once a month? Look at the election results. None of the candidates had anyone running against them. Look at the number of votes they got. Seems like only 48 people voted in April. So people aren’t interested enough in representing the citizens in this town to sign up for the job. And those that are voted in don’t want to show up at meetings. Don’t want to show up? I say get off the board.
