Quality Reigns Over Quantity For Gatewood 8th-Grade Class Of 2021

With just six members in their class, the processional didn't take long Thursday night to start commencement for the Gatewood R-III eighth-graders. As they stood in their caps and gowns in front of their families and friends, it was most evident that quality reigned over quantity for the Class of 2021. Madalyn Sisco, the only girl in the graduating class, was named winner of the prestigious Citizenship Award. Malachi Tippit delivered the valedictorian address. Gavin Bumpus was salutatorian.
