Ripley County COVID Cases Have Dropped During Past Week

Wednesday, March 3, 2021

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ripley County has dropped significantly during the past week to an average of one per day.

Meanwhile, Gov. Mike Parson has announced that those in the next tier of the vaccination plan will be eligible to receive a vaccine dose starting March 15.

The Ripley County Health Center reminds everyone that received their first MODERNA vaccine shot on Feb. 6 at the Doniphan High School gym that you are to return Saturday, March 6, for your second shot.

“Your are to return this Saturday, March 6, at the same time you came in February,” said health center director Jan Morrow.

Please bring your immunization card with you. If you have questions, call 996-2181.

Missouri began several weeks ago vaccinating people in tiers 1 and 2 of Phase 1B of the statewide vaccination plan.

Beginning March 15, Tier 3 of Phase 1B will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
