Brittany Lynn Morris, 28, Park Hills, Mo., was sentenced Oct. 5 on a guilty plea entered Aug. 19 to felony first-degree endangerment of a child (two counts.) She was given a suspended imposition of sentence, received five years supervised probation and was ordered to pay costs.

Richard Dominic Simmers, 42, Poplar Bluff, was sentenced Oct. 5 to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after his probation was revoked by the court.

Simmers appeared Sept. 11 for a probation hearing on a previous guilty plea to felony receiving stolen property.
