We want to send a special ‘Thank you” to the young couple from Gatewood who saved our cars and house from burning when the fire was on 142 West. We would have lost everything if they had not told us about the fire being so close and helping us put it out. We don’t know who they were, but we appreciate them.

We would also like to thank the firemen and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to put all of the fires out. Lastly, we want to thank our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren for coming to help and staying late to make sure the fire was completely out around our property.
