John Rhynes

John Alan Rhynes Jr., 43, of Fairdealing, passed away April 27, 2024, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 6, 1980, in Rockford, Ill. to John Alan Rhynes Sr. and Beverly Jean Rhynes.

He was married to Jessica Morris at Doniphan, in September of 2005. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Tristan Rhynes, Joel Rhynes, Zachery Rhynes and Chloe Rhynes all of Fairdealing.  He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly and Douglas Ray Frye as well as one sister, Bridgett (Crystal) Woods of Doniphan and one brother, Matthew Scott Rhynes of Doniphan, as well as one step brother, Douglas W. Frye of Roscoe, Ill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his father, John Alan Rhynes Sr. as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He enjoyed fishing, working in his shop, grilling, raising bees, gardening, planting trees and helping other people.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 4 starting at 1 p.m. with the funeral following at 2 p.m., all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville, Mo. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
